How this is built
The ledger is transactions.yaml — the authoritative historical ownership view
(a project's owners[] block is only the current snapshot). The read: the
volume of capacity changing hands is the appetite signal, and the maturity mix of what
trades — early-stage entries vs de-risked operational assets — is its character. Volume is
stake-weighted: a 25% farmdown of a 1,320 MW project counts 330 MW
traded. Deals without a disclosed stake (99) are counted in deal totals but
excluded from capacity bars; write-offs (no buyer) and JV formations (partnerships —
the parties co-found, no capacity changes hands) are excluded from volume entirely.
Monetary figures are nominal EUR converted at deal-date FX (basis recorded per deal), and
implied €/MW exists only where a value was disclosed —
72 of 395 deals. We never estimate an undisclosed number.
