Revolution Wind was acquired by Ørsted as part of the USD 510 million Deepwater Wind portfolio acquisition (announced October 2018, closed November 2018). Revolution Wind was in early development at the time (~700 MW capacity, with the Deepwater Wind announcement referencing it at 600 MW, later grown to 704 MW). Announced February 8, 2019. The USD 225 million consideration covered all four assets and cannot be disaggregated by project; individual implied values are not calculable. Eversource agreed in February 2024 to sell its combined 50% stakes in Revolution Wind and South Fork Wind to Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) for an announced price of approximately USD 1.12 billion. The transaction closed September 30, 2024. Actual adjusted gross proceeds were USD 745 million, reduced by approximately USD 375 million versus the announced price — split approximately USD 150 million due to lower capital spending and USD 225 million due to delay in Revolution Wind's commercial operation date (Revolution Wind was still under construction at closing). Revolution Wind was at FID / under-construction stage at announcement. The combined USD 745 million cannot be disaggregated between Revolution Wind and South Fork Wind; per-project implied values are not calculable.
