Sumitomo Corporation, SMBC and DBJ established Spring Infrastructure Capital Co., Ltd (Sumitomo 51% / SMBC 24.5% / DBJ 24.5%) to manage a renewable-energy fund that "will acquire UK assets held by Sumitomo Corporation as seed assets ... the Race Bank Offshore Wind Farm and the Galloper Offshore Wind Farm" (Sumitomo release, 14 Feb 2019). Sumitomo's Galloper holding was the 12.5% it bought from Macquarie Capital in July 2016 (previous row); RWE's project page (Sept 2025) lists the fund at 12.5%.
