Synera is the successor entity to the Macquarie/ JERA JV platform for the Miaoli offshore area (including Formosa 1, 2, 4, and 6). No material project-level M&A has been identified for Formosa 4 as a distinct project — it was developed within the Synera/Stonepeak vehicle from the outset of the Round 3.1 process (site exclusivity awarded December 2022). The corporate- level acquisition of Swancor Renewable Energy by Stonepeak (Aug 2019) effectively transferred the Miaoli development rights pipeline that later became Formosa 4.
