Eneco and Chubu Electric Power signed an agreement in February 2024 for Chubu to acquire 30% of Ecowende. Transaction completed 9 May 2024 following regulatory approvals. Post-transaction structure: Shell 60%, Chubu 30%, Eneco 10%. Deal value not disclosed. Chubu's entry is part of its international offshore wind expansion strategy.
