Northland Power
About
A Canadian independent power producer, listed in Toronto, with a portfolio spanning offshore wind, onshore renewables and thermal generation. It was an early non-European entrant to the North Sea and has since taken positions in Poland and Taiwan, developing with partners in each. As an IPP it lives on contracted cash flows, so its offshore projects are built around long-term offtake rather than merchant exposure.
On-time delivery compares each project’s first announced completion date with its latest. Directional — a developer’s share of a project is traced through joint ventures, and the sample is small.
