Ocean Winds · Banque des Territoires — The French government awarded the AO6 Mediterranean floating wind tender to a consortium of Ocean Winds (50-50 JV of EDP Renewables and ENGIE) and Banque des Territoires in December 2024. The project — Eoliennes Flottantes d'Occitanie (EFLO) — is located in the Narbonnaise zone in the Gulf of Lion, more than 25 km from the French coast between Agde (Hérault) and Port-la-Nouvelle (Aude). The benchmark tariff for AO6 was EUR 85.9/MWh. No equity M&A transactions have been publicly disclosed beyond the tender consortium formation. The project builds on experience from Ocean Winds' 30 MW EFGL pilot project in the same zone. Exact ownership split between Ocean Winds and Banque des Territoires is not publicly confirmed. Eiffage was awarded the offshore AC substation EPC contract (September 2025) covering all three AO5/AO6 French floating wind projects.
