Skyborn Renewables
About
A German offshore wind developer built from the offshore business of wpd, acquired by the infrastructure investor Global Infrastructure Partners and rebranded. It carries development experience from the early German and Baltic market into newer geographies including Taiwan and the US, and being fund-owned shapes its model: it is a builder financed by infrastructure capital rather than a utility deploying its own balance sheet.
On-time delivery compares each project’s first announced completion date with its latest. Directional — a developer’s share of a project is traced through joint ventures, and the sample is small.
